Use as a targeted cleansing step when a more clarifying cleanse is appropriate. It may be used as the primary cleanse or following an initial oil cleanse when additional removal of oil and buildup is needed.

Can CLARIFY be used on sensitive or compromised skin?
Professional judgment should be used. Because CLARIFY contains salicylic acid, avoid use on visibly irritated, compromised or highly sensitized skin. Assess the client’s current use of exfoliating products and other active ingredients before treatment.

Can CLARIFY be used before professional exfoliation?
Yes, when appropriate, but consider the client’s overall exfoliation load and skin tolerance. Avoid unnecessarily stacking exfoliating steps that may increase dryness, irritation or barrier disruption.

Is CLARIFY appropriate for every client experiencing acne?
Not necessarily. Breakouts can present alongside sensitivity, dehydration or barrier impairment. Select the cleanser based on the client’s current skin condition rather than the presence of breakouts alone.
